Fighting Depression.
"Why am I feeling this weird, why am I not like the others, why am I not happy and social, why do I feel lifeless, why don't I have appetite as usual? "
These are some questions that ponder oneself, they kill oneself from inside, it's because they are depressed. Stress may push one to this particular point.
A depressed person may not really physically look like depressed, they smile, they laugh too and they may be active. Keen looking and observation may tell you when one is depressed, however, others show openly they are depressed.
On observation, when you find your friend or family member has started acting weirdly or maybe becomes more reluctant to perform activities they usually liked, when one looks dull, separating themselves , talking of negative things in life or maybe dominating death in their conversation, then clearly the person may be undergoing through something in their minds.
Always try as much as possible to help them pull out of those thoughts. It's of much health to engage them in activities that can divert their thoughts. Take them out, socializing with friends, playing games, change of activities can help them. Try to solve the root of the problem so as to give them room for healing.
At all time let's try to check on our friends and families. To some people opening up may be a difficult thing to do, but at least by regular checking up on someone you may notice when there is something wrong. In our working places, schools, institutions let's try to adopt a session for mental health learning. Let's always make it a topic of discussion to enable all people be aware of it. Thank you. #mentalhealthawareness
